About Storybox Charms

I started making jewelry as a creative outlet, but it also became a way to share with others the joy I felt from the design process.  I've always found book-boxes and matchbox dioramas so charming and I wanted to bring this concept into my packaging where there's a treasure box and the jewelry is the secret surprise inside.   My Storyboxes are a combination of all of those things.  There is intention and thought put into each and every one.  

Finding inspiration in fabrics, patterns, color, illustration, nature and history I began creating my own jewelry as a hobby around 2017.  I find beads beautiful, inspiring and unique in their own art form, and am able to tell a story with everything I make.  The beads come from all over the world and many have their very own story to begin with.

I use an assortment of metals and findings to create with.  I love vintage or repurposed beads, natural stones and crystals, Czech fired glass, Hand-made glass beads, and some acrylic and resin too.  My collection includes earrings, necklaces, bracelets, keycharms and wire-wrapped bead rings.  I also make greeting cards (I call them Cutiecards) using the same materials I make the boxes with.  I like to keep my designs affordable and unique.
